ITINERARY

Day 1

Welcome to Tashkent

  • Arrive at Tashkent International Airport at 16:40 and meet your friendly local guide who will warmly welcome you to Uzbekistan’s vibrant capital. Transfer to your hotel for check-in and take some time to unwind after your journey. You may choose to explore the nearby surroundings or simply relax and get ready for the adventure ahead.

Day 2

Exploring Tashkent → Samarkand

  • After breakfast, begin your exploration of Tashkent with a visit to Independence Square, the heart of the city and a symbol of peace and freedom. Take a leisurely walk along the city’s local “Broadway”, a lively stretch connecting Independence Square to Amir Timur Square, filled with street art and cafés. Experience the charm of the Tashkent Metro, known as one of the most beautiful subway systems in the world, with each station uniquely designed. Continue to the Old City, where you’ll visit Chorsu Bazaar, Kukaldash Madrasah, and the Hast Imam Complex, home to the world’s oldest Quran – the Othman Quran dating back to the 8th century. In the afternoon, enjoy a scenic drive to Samarkand, one of the most legendary cities along the Silk Road.

Day 3

Wonders of Samarkand

  • After breakfast, immerse yourself in the breathtaking heritage of Samarkand, a city as old as Babylon and Rome. Visit the world-famous Registan Square, surrounded by three magnificent madrasahs showcasing intricate tilework and grand Islamic architecture. Continue to Shakhi-Zindeh Necropolis, a sacred complex of mausoleums adorned with brilliant turquoise domes and part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Discover the Guri Emir Mausoleum, resting place of the great conqueror Amir Timur (Tamerlane). Later, stroll along the bustling local streets lined with teahouses and craft stalls, and browse through Siab Bazaar, where you’ll find traditional Uzbek sweets, spices, and souvenirs.

Day 4

Pottery & Heritage – Samarkand to Bukhara

  • After breakfast, depart for Bukhara, one of Central Asia’s most ancient and spiritual cities. Along the way, stop at Gijduvan village, home to a famous pottery workshop run by the Narzullayev family, who have been passing down their craft for six generations. Watch skilled artisans shape clay into beautiful ceramic pieces decorated with geometric blue and green patterns — a hallmark of the Gijduvan school. Continue your drive to Bukhara, where you’ll arrive in the afternoon and check in at your hotel. Enjoy a relaxed evening exploring the old city streets at your own pace.

Day 5

Historic Bukhara

  • Enjoy a full-day city tour of Bukhara, a living museum filled with over 2,000 years of history. Begin at the Citadel Ark, a massive fortress dating back to the 4th century that once served as the royal residence for Bukhara’s rulers. Visit the Samanids Mausoleum, a remarkable example of early Islamic architecture from the 9th–10th centuries. Continue to Chashma Ayub (Job’s Well) and the elegant Bolo-Hauz Mosque, known as the “Mosque of Forty Columns.” Wander through the traditional trading domes, where artisans sell carpets, jewelry, and local handicrafts. End the day at the Poi Kalon Complex, an architectural masterpiece featuring the towering Kalon Minaret, the Kalon Mosque, and the Mir Arab Madrasah — symbols of Bukhara’s spiritual legacy.

Day 6

Spiritual Bukhara → Tashkent

  • After breakfast, head just outside the city to visit the Bahauddin Naqshbandi Complex, one of Uzbekistan’s most important pilgrimage sites dedicated to the Sufi scholar Sheikh Bahauddin Naqshbandi, spiritual mentor to Amir Timur. Explore its peaceful courtyards, beautifully tiled mosques, and the revered tomb surrounded by centuries of devotion. In the afternoon, transfer to the Bukhara Railway Station for your comfortable train journey back to Tashkent, where you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel upon arrival.

Day 7

Chimgan Adventure & Farewell

  • After breakfast, take a scenic drive to the Chimgan Mountains, a popular resort area surrounded by breathtaking peaks. Ride a chairlift up Beldersay Peak to admire panoramic views and enjoy some free time for photos or a nature walk. On your way back, stop at Charvak Lake, a stunning turquoise reservoir where locals and travelers alike relax, swim, and enjoy seasonal water activities. Return to Tashkent in the evening for your transfer to the airport and flight home — taking with you memories of Uzbekistan’s timeless charm, culture, and hospitality.
